【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61188providesinformationonlandpatterngeometriesusedforthesurfaceattachmentofelectroniccomponentswithgull-wingleadsonfoursides.Theintentoftheinformationpresentedhereinistoprovidetheappropriatesize,shapeandtolerancesofsurfacemountlandpatternstoensuresufficientareafortheappropriatesolderfillet,andalsoallowforinspection,testingandreworkingofthosesolderjoints.Eachclausecontainsaspecificsetofcriteriasuchthattheinformationpresentedisconsistent,providinginformationonthecomponent,thecomponentdimensions,thesolderjointdesignandthelandpatterndimensions.Thelandpatterndimensionsarebasedonamathematicalmodelthatestablishesaplatformforasolderjointattachmenttotheprintedboard.Theexistingmodelscreateaplatformthatiscapableofestablishingareliablesolderalloyusedtomakethatjoint(lead-free,tinlead,etc.).Processrequirementsforsolderreflowaredifferentbasedonthesolderalloyandshouldbeanalyzedinorderthattheprocessisabovethattemperatureasufficienttimetoformareliablemetallurgicalbond.
