【摘要】:TheDocumentPrintingApplicationisonecomponentofacoordinatedsetoffacilitiesandstandardsneededtosatisfytheprintingrequirementsofthemoderndistributedoffice.Together,thecapabilitiesprovidedcanenableuserstocreateandproducehigh-qualityofficedocumentsinaconsistentandunambiguousmannerwithinadistributedopensystemsenvironment.TheDocumentPrintingApplicationStandard(ISO/IEC10175)consistsofthreeparts:Part1:AbstractservicedefinitionsandproceduresPart2:ProtocolspecificationPart3:ManagementabstractservicedefinitionandproceduresThispartofISO/IEC10175extendsthefacilitiesspecifiedinISO/IEC10175-1byaddingthecapabilityforadministratorsandoperatorstomanageandcontrolprinters,printserversandallotherprintobjects;inaddition,thispartspecifiesadditionalcapabilitiesforaprintclienttocontrolaprintjob.ThetextandspecificationscontainedinthispartofISO/IEC10175arederivedfromIEEE1387.4(POSIX)-SystemAdministrationPart4-PrintingInterfaces.Inparticular,thispartofISO/IEC10175:-specifiesadditionaladministrativefunctionsandservicesthatmaybeprovidedbyDocumentPrintingApplicationservers;-specifiestheDocumentPrintingApplicationabstractservicefortheadditionaladministrativefunctionsusingtheprinciplesestablishedbytheAbstractServiceDefinitionConventions(ISO/IEC10021-3);-specifiestherequirementsforconformancewiththeDocumentPrintingApplicationfortheseadditionaladministrativefunctions.Seeclause1ofISO/IEC10175-1foramoreextensivedescriptionoftheDocumentPrintingApplication.
