【摘要】:Thepresentstandardappliestosystemsinwhichafoamingagentisaddedtothefire-fightingwaterbeingdischargedfromthefire-fightingcentrifugalpump:-byapositive-pressurefoamsystemor-togetherwithcompressedairbymeansofacompressed-airfoamsystem.dependingonthetypeofsystem.Inbothcasespressureisappliedtothefoamingagentinordertopermitcontinuousoperation.Suchsystemsarepermanentlyinstalledinfire-fightingvehicles(ormaybedesignedasmobileorportabledevices,providingthattheymeetminimumsafetyandperformancerequirements).Stationarysystemsarenotcoveredbythisstandard.Thisstandardappliestothedesign,manufacturingandoperationofsuchsystems.Thisstandardappliestosystemswhichareusedatambienttemperaturesrangingfrom-15℃to+35℃asstatedinDINEN1846-3.NOTEThesafetyrequirementsand/orprotectivemeasuresarespecifiedinclause4andtheperformancerequirementsinclause5Inbothclauses,thespecificationsaresupplementedbyadescriptionofthecorrespondingtestsClause6describestheclassificationsThisstandarddoesnotapplytothetechnicalsafetyrequirementsconcerningthedesignandmanufacturingofdrives,auxiliaryequipment,sourcesofenergyorpumps.Furthermore.thisstandarddoesnotdealwithspeciaJhazardsarisingfromtheparticularconditionsunderwhichthesesystemsareused,forexamplea)handlingofanyequipment,devicesetc.whichhavetobeconnectedtothesystemorarejoinedtoit(e.g.handlingofbranchpipes/nozzlesandpressurehoses);b)eventsspecifictothelocationwherethesystemissetup(e.g.onpublicroads);c)decommissioninganddisposal:d)operationwithoutsupervision;e)immunityagainstelectromagneticfieldsandelectrostaticdischarge.Hazardsrelatingtoanykindofmechanical,electrical,hydraulic,pneumaticandotherequipmentdealtwithbytherespectivestandardsforsuchequipmentarenotcoveredbythepresentstandard.Referencestotherelevantstandardsaremadewhereversuchstandardsexistandwhenevernecessary.Thisstandarddoesnotdealwiththehazardsarisingfromnoise.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytosystemsmanufacturedbeforethestandardwaspublished.
