【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardisaspecificationforvertical,cylindricaltanks,builtonsite,abovegroundandofwhichtheprimaryliquidcontainerismadeofsteel.Thesecondarycontainer,ifapplicable,maybeofsteelorofconcreteoracombinationofboth.Aninnertankmadeonlyofpre-stressedconcreteisexcludedfromthescopeofthisEuropeanStandard.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesprinciplesandapplicationrulesforthestructuraldesignofthe“containment”duringconstruction,testing,commissioning,operation(accidentalincluded),anddecommissioning.Itdoesnotaddresstherequirementsforancillaryequipmentsuchaspumps,pumpwells,valves,piping,instrumentation,staircasesetc.unlesstheycanaffectthestructuraldesignofthetank.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestostoragetanksdesignedtostoreproducts,havinganatmosphericboilingpointbelowambienttemperature,inadualphase,i.e.liquidandvapour.Theequilibriumbetweenliquidandvapourphasesbeingmaintainedbycoolingdowntheproducttoatemperatureequalto,orjustbelow,itsatmosphericboilingpointincombinationwithaslightoverpressureinthestoragetank.ThemaximumdesignpressureofthetankscoveredbythisEuropeanStandardislimitedto500mbar.Forhigherpressures,referencecanbemadetoEN13445,Parts1to5.Theoperatingrangeofthegassestobestoredisbetween0°Cand–165°C.Thetanksforthestorageofliquefiedoxygen,nitrogenandargonareexcluded.Thetanksareusedtostorelargevolumesofhydrocarbonproductsandammoniawithlowtemperatureboilingpoints,generallycalled“RefrigeratedLiquefiedGases”(RLG’s).Typicalproductsstoredinthetanksare:methane,ethane,propane,butane,ethylene,propylene,butadiene(thisrangeincludestheLNG’sandLPG’s).NOTEPropertiesofthegasesaregiveninAnnexA.TherequirementsofthisEuropeanStandardcannotcoveralldetailsofdesignandconstructionbecauseofthevarietyofsizesandconfigurationsthatmaybeemployed.Wherecompleterequirementsforaspecificdesignarenotprovided,theintentionisforthedesigner,subjecttoapprovalofthepurchaser'sauthorizedrepresentative,toprovidedesignanddetailsthatareassafeasthoselaidoutinthisEuropeanStandard.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesgeneralrequirementsforthetankconcept,selectionandgeneraldesignconsiderations.
