【摘要】:1.1Thesepracticesareintendedtoprovidethenuclearindustrywithproceduresforobtainingrepresentativebulksamplesfromuranium-oreconcentrates(UOC)(seeSpecificationC967).1.2Thesepracticesalsoprovideforobtaeiningaseriesofrepresentativesecondarysamplesfromtheoriginalbulksampleforthedeterminationofmoistureandothertestpurposes,andforthepreparationofpulverizedanalyticalsamples(seeTestMethodsC1022).1.3Thesepracticesconsistofanumberofalternativeproceduresforsamplingandsamplepreparationwhichhavebeenshowntobesatisfactorythroughlongexperienceinthenuclearindustry.Theseproceduresaredescribedinthefollowingorder.1.4Theseproceduresdonotincluderequirementsforhealth,safety,andaccountability.Theobservanceofthesepracticesdoesnotrelievetheuseroftheobligationtobeawareofandtoconformtoallapplicableinternational,federal,state,andlocalregulationspertainingtoprocessing,shipping,orusinguranium-oreconcentrates.(GuidanceisprovidedinCFR,10,Chapter1.)1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
