【摘要】:Thehydrationofdead-burneddolomitegrainsisanimportantaspectofbothmanufacturingandusingsuchgrains.Moisturefromanysourcewillcausethegrainstopartiallydisintegrate,eventuallymakingthedead-burneddolomiteunfitforuse.Thistestmethodmayproveusefulfordetermining,inarelativemanner,whichgrainsaremoreresistanttohydrationthanothers.Datafromonelaboratorymighthelpinestablishinginternallimitsfordeterminingwhetheraparticularbatchofgrainissuitableforrefractoryproduction.However,thistestmethodtakesgreatcaretorun,andisnotrecommendedasaqualitycontroltest.Possibly,aspecificationmightbedevelopedbetweentwopartiesifsufficientcareinestablishingthebiasbetweenthelaboratoriesiscarriedout.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheamountofhydrationofagranulardead-burnedrefractorydolomitewhenexposedtomoistair.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoregardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
